Appalling service, showed up at 245 on a wednesday and there was zero staff on the counter, 4 customers/clients, waiting for a staff member to show back up, waited 15 minutes for somwone to show up and then took a very long time to work through the backlog of people. I will NEVER return to this branch. I have been a client of CIBC for nearly 30 years. Worst customer service I have experienced! Cibc has no problem charging you service fees for services not even provided!
I signed up for a new bank account, transferred from my old account with TD, back in August. The customer service was pretty good, helpful and nice. Wait times were normal, nothing that took all day. I love the app, it’s smooth and works well. My grandparents banked with CIBC for years so I looked into them when I realized I needed to switch our day to day.
