It is very disappointing to deal with CIBC staff. When I went to the branch to ask why my credit card was deactivated, they simply told me to call online banking. When I called online banking, they told me to visit my nearest branch. I was sent back and forth with no clear answer or help. This level of service is unacceptable and extremely frustrating. Mahmud doesn’t know how to do his job. Every week I have certain funds that are on hold released. I come to this location every week. Now Mahmud is claiming he can’t lift funds due to my credit score being to low, when I said my credit hasent changed he lied and said I can’t get the funds lifted because this isn’t the branch I created the account on. This was one of the worst banking experiences I’ve ever had. I came in last week to get some USD in smaller bills like $5s and $10s for a trip. The teller immediately said they had nothing and basically tried to rush me out. When I asked again if they could check, he turned to the other two tellers and started speaking in Bengali, which I understood. He asked if they had any spare USD, and suddenly they did.
