Special thanks to all staff at Hillside branch!- I had lost two of my bank cards during a visit and had not realized until the financial advisor Jingjing called me. I learnt that the cards dropped there when I was doing business at the counter and were found and kept by CIBC staff. I didn’t find a chance to say thanks face to face to Jingjing the next day when I pick up the cards so hopefully she will know how grateful I feel. And thanks to all CIBC staff including my advisor Rene for all the support during the years.

Absolute worst CIBC branch. Total lack of customer service. I stood on line to see a teller for 42 minutes, while there is always only two tellers and one of them is a trainee. General manager doesn't care about helping customers. If you see a big line of customers waiting for service, have the decency to put extra tellers to service your customers, we deserve better customer service from you.

Two weeks ago today I went to pay off my credit card using their middle ATM. I had two people count the money and then myself. I put in $6500 and only $5500 got counted. I was told I was not able to see a teller to pay off my credit card in the past without it having to go through my debit account first so I thought this was the only way to pay it directly. I visited the CIBC Hillside Branch to inquire about a five-day hold on my paycheque. Instead of receiving help, I was treated rudely by a staff member named Varsha. Her comments were dismissive and insulting, including telling me that “everyone works hard” and suggesting that I change my bank. This was said in front of other customers, which was embarrassing and unprofessional.
