I had a very disappointing experience at the CIBC branch in STC. I went in to deposit a cheque, and the teller refused to accept it, giving what felt like a vague and unconvincing explanation that didn’t make much sense. I’ve been a loyal customer of CIBC for over a decade, but my recent experience at the Scarborough Town Centre branch was extremely disappointing. I applied for a personal line of credit, which typically takes 5–7 business days. My application was approved on the first day, and all that was required was a manager’s signature to finalize it. This was my first time visiting this CIBC location, and I would like to share a compliment for Wisvini. I had just received an accepted offer on my home and needed to make a deposit, but my funds were spread across different banks, which made the situation stressful and confusing. Wisvini was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. She guided me step by step and made the whole process smooth and manageable. I truly appreciate her outstanding customer service. I want to close my account in this Branch. Very poor Service. I had a meeting with one of the employer Tanisha, She explained me very nicely where to invest my money and in RRSP. I was really impressed with her and her knowledge. After being with her for 2hrs, She told me that She will call me the next day and will email me documents for signing.
