Went to the westshore mall branch and Hardeep helped me with my needs in every way. He took the time to resolve my objective professionally and calmly. The hospitality Hardeep provided was excellent. I am a very happy customer as a result. Located at CIBC westshore mall, Langford, BC.
I started banking at the CIBC hillside branch, but when I moved to langford a few years ago I started using the westshore branch by Westshore Mall. The Hillside CIBC branch is frankly terrible. I have received calls from them but when I return the calls I am directed straight to voice-mail, and I have never received a call back. The Westshore/Langford Branch has answered my calls on my first try every time, and is informative and helpful.
Terrible branch. Tried to deposit a cheque that was a large amount that I needed asap, no holds. Teller was rude, acted annoyed and wasn’t even making an effort to help. Worst part, they didn’t believe I was who I claimed to be! I only had a paper slip of my license and my Canadian firearms license for photo ID. I was asked a bunch of questions about who I was, where I lived, can you write your signature (which I had to do more than once). This is by far the WORST CIBC branch. The people there are like robots. No one there seems to care about grief or dealing with human beings.
