I have been having trouble with this branch for awhile now. I often have checks that are in US funds. I can deal with funds being put on hold but not with the bank itself taking money from the funds that are being held. Especially when my overdraft would have covered if I overslept paying bills and shopping. Probably going to open an account somewhere else as I can't get an answer from anyone including the new manager
This is the worst branch I have ever dealt with. They hire unprofessional and incompetent employees who cause customers to waste time, money, and energy. Last week, I had an appointment with a bank employee Jaspreet jaspreet regarding withdrawing money from my tfsa account. She claimed that if the money was withdrawn, it would be “lost a room even next year” and I would never be able to get it back. I knew this was nonsense, but she insisted. It started off good and went down south in a hurry ! Trying to open a Estate Account and it's still on going a Month Later. Amy Lanfranconi was a big disappointment after her 1 week holiday. I'm not going back to Frederick Mall now to shop. Ended up spending time talking to my Lawyer which resulted in more money being spent. Lawyer charges 350.00 Hour. It's unforutance I have to give a 1 now. It's just constant reminder everytime I go to Frederick Mall.
Worst banking experience ever. On top of this, they do not update their website for random closing days. Walked 30mins to discover that the CIBC branch on Fredrick St is closed and all they did was to stick a paper on the door. Customer service sucks, takes forever to reach through the phone
