Our then 14 year old poodle, Declan, was in dire need of a cardiology tune up and Dr Whit Church of DVMS came to the rescue! Now 15, Declan's energy level, general health, and mood are much improved. Lord willing, Declan can now enjoy 2-3 more quality years with us.
Absolutely wonderful staff. Dr. Church is amazing. If your dog has developed heart disease Dr. Church and his staff are who you want taking care of your fur baby. Dr. Church has wonderful Drs he has trained and they are excellent as well. My dog Valentino (Tino) has seen two other Drs when Dr. Church wasn't available. They were wonderful too. The staff is excellent at returning text messages if you have any questions or concerns. They answer in a very timely manner. I find it easier to text than to wait on the phone.
We had the good fortune to be one of Dr. Church's patients from January to October 2025, because of which we were given extra time with our Peanut that I don't think we would have gotten if it were not for Dr. Church and his wonderful team. Peanut always loved going to his appointments, and the team was highly responsive and supportive as we navigated the ups and downs in between appointments throughout our 10.5-month battle against his congestive heart failure. My puppy had an emergency in the middle of the night and the staff and doctors were amazing to my little guy and fixed him right up without charging me an arm and leg.
