I’ve been going to Chura Primo for about 2 years with Maki after moving away from Hastings Street, where I used to go to Chura Crescendo for many years. Japanese hairstylists are honestly on another level. Their understanding of haircutting and geometry is amazing, and they really take your hair type and personal style into consideration. I have extremely fine hair, so although I love layers, they need to be done carefully with disconnected layers and blunt ends to keep fullness. Nice salon, good and fast treatment and reasonable prices.
The haircut itself was good, but I was grilled by my stylist about my last name and its ethnic/national origins even after I was clearly uncomfortable when they asked the first time. I love Chura but will have to find another location of it I guess
