Scam artist! I paid a deposit and he said it would be 6 week waiting period, after 6 weeks he said he said he was having medical problems and needed to push it back, after months more of excuses, he finally said it would be ready the next week and I could register it beforehand if I paid for the trailer in full. So (stupidly) I paid the rest of the balance, excited to have my trailer. More excuses the next week and he said he would be gone for a few weeks. We had a dump trailer made with 3 foot high sides for our horse manure. Chuck and his boys did an awesome job in a timely manner (even painted with classic 'Ford' Blue). We are very happy with our new dump trailer!
Stay away from Chuck's Wagons, he is no longer advertising on Craigslist for a good reason, he is not fulfilling his promises and has tons of excuses why the project I paid half up front 5 months ago wasn't even started, I finally cancelled the trailer build. I don't expect him to refund my money because I think he is having financial problems,the good thing is I used my credit card to pay the 50% deposit and my credit card company will get my money.
DON'T!!! pay in cash! Better advice: steer clear ! I advise anyone considering Chucks Wagons in Raynham to do a little more research via google. I paid half, then got stories and more stories. 5 months I was finally told it was ready and if I paid the rest I can get paperwork in mail to register and tow it legally, as I live in N.Y. day before scheduled pick-up I was told trailer was stolen and he had contacted his local police. Charles made me triple axle trailer for me for a building project I was doing and it came out amazing. I wanted to go with with trailer manufacturer that was local and personal, and Chuck's Wagons is just that. The price was really really fair, and the product was perfect. If I ever had a question about the build, Charles could always be reached, and if he didn't pick up he generally would cal back within minutes. Really happy with my purchase with this business, would surely recommend, especially if you are in New England!
