Had to make sure no one wastes their money here. absolute ripoff! $22 for a tiny little sandwich (and a pretty mid one at that). Go to literally any other shop for a bahn mi and not only will you get a tastier sandwich, but it will be 1/10th of the price of this place. LOL!
Thanks for the veggie sandwich
15% service fee… ridiculous
Amazing service, beautifully homie place. Food was excellent as expected and can’t wait to go again soon…
I'd walked by this place a million times, and it looked good, but I wasn't hurting for sandwich places. But then I read something in Eater that it was owned by the Slanted Door guy, and that made me need to check it out. The sandwiches are good! Not particularly obviously Vietnamese-inspired, but there are Vietnamese ice coffee and corn snacks and various little sauces and so forth available for sale. Only like four seats inside the place, though, so the name is accurate.
