I took my Toyota in to get the key fob replaced and made it clear to the consultant that I didn’t want a hard key included since it wasn’t necessary and would cost extra. The consultant agreed, and I was quoted $200 for the service. When I picked up the key, the bill was nearly $450! They not only charged me for the hard key I specifically declined, but they also refused to remove it from the bill.
