I adore the Langham Hotel Chicago, and my first experience at the Chuan Spa did not disappoint! Lindsey was fantastic with my scheduling process, and Miguel and Marcia were great as well. Sarah, my masseuse, was magical! She was calm, kind, and definitely helped me relax! The experience itself was fantastic, including the decor and snacks. I highly recommend this spa experience for a luxe and relaxing treat. Also, shouts out to Borgot at the front door as well who always provides great customer service.
Got my brother a treatment for his birthday and rather than using the card on file they claimed they “can’t do that without 3 days notice” and had him put his card down. What the hell? What an embarrassment of a gift. The manager never called me back after two calls from me requesting to speak to them. Nightmare.
Best experience and very luxurious
Absolutely amazing spa space, I've been to plenty of hotel spas in Chicago and know how important additional amenities are for a true spa experience and Chuan definitely delivers. Between the multiple steam rooms, rain showers, heated pools and lounge space there is something for everyone to relax .I saw plenty of pictures of the stone lounge chairs but you need to experience them to understand how amazing they are. This is the review I’d wish someone else had written for me. Positives: the people were very friendly and attentive and the facial for my friend and hand/foot massage for me was great! If I could rate that by itself I’d say 5 stars. Loved the complimentary Presecco too, after our treatments! Negatives: this isn’t really a “spa” in the way I think of a luxury spa in a 5 star hotel.
