I'm sincerely grateful for Dr. Chu's help and guidance throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I especially appreciate her role during the delivery itself. After five hours of pushing, I was completely exhausted. Thankfully, Dr. Chu made a swift and decisive decision that helped me deliver my baby safely, and my postpartum recovery has been excellent. I am truly impressed that despite having so many patients, she remembers my situation and selects the most suitable delivery plan for me. Her dedication is truly admirable.

I do not want to return to this clinic. The doctor seems more focused on profit than patient care, the equipment is outdated—I’m not exaggerating, the ultrasound machine looks like it could be from my grandmother’s era. The doctor does not listen to my concerns. I gave it a second chance, thinking maybe they were just busy the first time, but my feedback was still ignored. As others have noted, the doctor herself isn’t the issue—but the office’s scheduling system is an absolute disaster. There’s essentially no functioning appointment management. Time slots are routinely double or even triple-booked, leading to average wait times of 1 to 2 hours. This shows a blatant disregard for patients’ time. I have gone to Dr. Chu since young. Last week though was my last straw. After taking a blood test almost 4 weeks ago, I received a call that I had to schedule an appointment urgently due to an abnormality they found with my blood test. I told them I could not go because I'm in the east coast but am happy to get a call to talk about it. I made an "in network" appt. for my annual gynecological visit. They made we wait an hour and then told me I had to pay full amount for the visit and that they would send me a refund once they processed my insurance. Then they told me I would have to have a consult to discuss my annual appt. and then make another appt. I think they do this to double charge your insurance. Also, I've never in my life had a consult to see a gynecologist. You go in, they do a PAP and you leave. What different thinks will happen to consult about... read more
