On 30 Nov 2024 my sister, visited the Care Spot Urgent Care in Avalon (FL). She shared that the intake nurse was kind and empathetic. However, the Physician Assistant (PA), Christy Dailey, displayed a lack of compassion and total disrespect towards her. Rather than asking the patient 'Why are you here?' in a disdainful way, ask yourself, 'Why am I (the PA) here?' Without patients there is no need for an Urgent Care facility. I just saw Christy at CareSpot Urgent Care in Avalon Park for a follow up worker's comp appointment (not the original doc that I saw my first appointment). She told me that my knee is still injured because I am not taking 600 mg Ibuprofen 3x a day and if I was, it would be healed. Then she told me that I need to start doing squats. I asked how much and how often and she said '20 squats 4 times a day SO 80!!!!!' Extremely dismissive and didn’t listen to my concerns at all. Talked with me for less than a minute and already made up her mind. Horrible manners and personality. Going to see someone else to get actual care.
Extremely rude. Has some sort of superiority complex. Showed absolutely zero concern for my injury and did not allow me opportunities to make informed decisions about my own care. Would give her negative stars if I could.
