It's a great location and the new hospital next door. My Doctor is in this place. I enjoy it when I've got a appt.
Love the convenience and options available at the facility! My only reluctance with providing a 5-star rating (all other services have met a five star rating!), is the lab. When fasting, waiting until 8:00 am to test is nuts for someone waking up at 5 - and thirsty and hungry. If the lab opens earlier, or the 24/7 emergency room can take blood for the labs, they should advertise it on the website and in the app. I couldn't find definite hours for the lab anywhere! Please add them.
I am a CHF patient and was feeling really bad so I went to the ER at Christus in Palestine. I was the right place at the right time. I was in the waiting room all of 5 min. Before they came to take me back. Extremely fast and very efficient. They listened and had the rights tests performed in record time. Just wanted to give an FYI for anyone with pediatric kiddos. I highly recommend not going to Christus Emergency Care. My son ended up having a cough exacerbation, retractions, so we decided to take him to the ER. (For background, he does have asthma.) The nurses were great. However, when the physician spoke with my husband, he immediately assumed my son had croup. He also stated that albuterol would restrict his airways.
