Just wanted to give an FYI for anyone with pediatric kiddos. I highly recommend not going to Christus Emergency Care. My son ended up having a cough exacerbation, retractions, so we decided to take him to the ER. (For background, he does have asthma.) The nurses were great. However, when the physician spoke with my husband, he immediately assumed my son had croup. He also stated that albuterol would restrict his airways. I don't understand why they have such a low rating. This hospital was super clean and the staff was incredably helpful and sweet. The doctor listened to my issue and the care team did everything in their power to find my issue which they did and PRMC just treated me like dirt and turned me away. I will definatley come back.
Dr. Symmank and staff are always knowledgeable and friendly
