I had a recent appointment 05/29/2026 with Dr Carothers to talk about Knee Replacement Surgery. Dr Carorthers was very friendly and professional. Dr Carorthers explained about Knee surgery very well. The Dr answered my questions easily enough. It was a positive meeting. It is still very concerning & scary when you are talking about cutting open your knee and replacing bad bone parts. He was better to talk to than some others out there, in the medal field.
Dr. Wagner and her staff, have it simple to the care I needed. I was happy with my experience with her practice that she is now seeing my wife and daughter for their medical issues; while at lease for our arms and hands. While waiting for her appointment my daughter had seizure. The staff went above and beyond to make sure she safe during and cared for after. Our family has considered moved to Santa Fe due to the way Christ's st. Vincent has treated us.
Prior to my visit I asked if my insurance was accepted and was assured that it was. After I spoke to Derrik at the front desk and was seen by the doctor and then went to scheduling for surgery, I was finally told they do not accept my insurance. Derrik at the front spoke with me after the visit and told me that the call center upstairs doesn't have all the information on the insurance.
