I made an appointment at Christus on November 23rd to see a rheumatologist, and he prescribed an EpiPen that I discovered - after leaving my appointment—costs $14,000. It took two weeks of continuous phone calls with the clinic and my insurance company to learn of this cost, and naturally, this medication was ultimately not approved by my insurance. These may be a wonderful doctors, but I guess I won’t be able to find out. I went to the trouble of getting a referral sent from my former rheumatologist. No response from this office. I’ve called several times and left messages for a call back on the referral. No response. I know it’s hard to get good office staff these days, but this is ridiculous for an office that is supposed to help people.
Dr. Faught is wonderful! He spent a considerable amount of time with us discussing test results, treatment options, and a plan moving forward. He happily answered every question we had and provided additional resources for us. I'm thankful to have him managing my care.
