All personnel were awesome!
Excellent care provided during a very scary and sudden Illness from all staff, beginning with Admissions, ER, Doctors, Nurses, Techs, Food service, Transport Housekeeping, Case Management, Radiology & Lab Services and Volunteer Services. I’m grateful that Christus Health cared for me with the Love of God through Jesus Christ.

On Friday, March 27,2026, I visited the Christus Schumpert Bossier City emergency room with excruciating lower back pain and had a very concerning experience with Dr. Nguyen. Despite clearly being in severe pain, I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. I also felt stereotyped during my visit. As a Black woman, the interaction raised serious concerns for me about bias in how my pain was assessed and treated.
