My child (adult) had surgery at Christus Westover Hills. As a nurse of 29 years, I cannot say enough how impressed I am with the PRE-OP, OR, PACU Nurses, Anesthesia Team, and the Surgeon, Dr Al Hakeem. The staff were Top Notch. Josh, Pre-Op Nurse and Ivonne have the process down of ensuring patients experience safe, quality care. I could not get all the OR staff names but everyone was so kind and it helped me to trust that everything would be OK. The nurses are amazing and they do everything they can to help you get better.
Nursing staff would leave for hours at a time (4+ hours). Doctors would visit a beginning of visit but promise to give ups and never return. They would keep for additional days beyond any care besides putting an IV bag.
