If I can rate 0 I would. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. I was traveling and my son got sick in a matter of 2 hours and was up at midnight-3am coughing and throwing up. My hotel was 9 minutes away from this emergency room. I personally prefer urgent cares but since it was in the middle of the night I had no choice, plus I’m not familiar with the area as I was traveling from Corpus Christi. To the nurses who saw me when I was at my most vulnerable… Thank you. Thank you for walking into a room btw where I was exhausted, bleeding, swollen, and unsure of myself… and treating me like I was strong. Thank you for adjusting my pillows when I was too sore to move. For helping me sit up when my body felt like it didn’t belong to me anymore. The absolute worst hospital in this area. Televisits are a joke and take away any quality patient care. Even in ER it was a televisit and never seen a MD until next day… even as an ICU patient. Needed MRI and their machine was down and wouldn’t go extra work to transport to another facility to do. If could give a zero we would. Sure they’ll get their insurance money but could care less about patients.
