I came in this evening due to high blood sugar, and when I got here they tested my blood and it showed small DKA . I got two bags of fluids and two ten units of insulin and was sent home By Dr . J . McWilliams . My endocrinologist call to speak with him to in form him that I do not need to be sent home with DKA , it needs to be watched and flushed out . He kept insisting that I will be fine at home . DKA is nothing to play with small ketones or large ketones in the blood it’s still DKA . I pray I don’t get sicker with going ... read more
