This is was my second time coming to this emergency department the first time my daughter had strained breathing they said to suction her nose (we had) and we were sent home, turns out she had a heart defect. Took my infant in recently with a fever, vomiting, and a couple other concerning symptoms, the nursing staff was awesome and reassuring but the doctor was dismissive and again told us to suction her nose and tested her for the bare minimum, and sent us home don’t suggest this place go somewhere else
I have to say that I am typically pretty pleased with the care from the doctors here. I have been bringing my children to this particularly hospital since about 2020. I was not impressed at all by the doctor that we saw tonight. My son went in with a headache, vomiting and abdominal pain. Though I already assumed what the outcome would be, I wasn't at all happy with the level of assessment she provided. Seriously this is the only place I take my kids. Quick and efficient. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Also our doctor is in the same building which is perfect.
Dr. Sky (Shahed Izaddoost MD) is the best pediatrician hands down. She’s so relatable and she has so much transparency. She really cares about my daughter and she makes me feel like I am validated when it comes to parenting and taking care of my little one. She is very charismatic and she always finds out a solution to our health concerns. The front desk is also very polite and answers all my questions.
