The main hospital where the children are admitted are wonderful. They really take the time to make the children feel loved and cared for. The childrens clinic however is horrible. You will never see the same doctor in clinic so the follow-up care needed for your children goes out the door! Try to schedule a follow-up appointment required by the doctor while you're in the clinic and being told up front you can't because they have no openings due to their new residents program making all appointments tied up.. Crappy place. For it being down town one of the worst hospitals. Been coming here for wife pregnancy and for people who r suppose to care bunch of the staff here is rude and inconsiderate. Should b out of business just like south west general.

While I respect the reviews on here, whatever they may be, I really appreciate CHRISTUS Children's Hospital for taking car of my granddaughter. They did a very thorough job, and their genuine care was evident. Thank you, thank you!

I had a very concerning experience in the Labor & Delivery unit at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital on 4/10/26 involving the anesthesiologist, Dr. Ahmed Attia. First, I want to say the nurses were great, attentive, and very helpful throughout the process. They did their best to care for my daughter despite the situation. My daughter, a first-time mom, requested an epidural at 10:56 PM and waited over 40 minutes in severe pain despite being told he would arrive in 10 minutes. Went in for a foot injury (ER)for my son and all the staff were wonderful. I was out within 2 hours, which flew by quick! The nurse practitioner was very nice and thorough when completing my son’s exam, will definitely come back again if needed!
