We crack an egg for every order. Everything is made in small, fresh batches. Almost everything is homemade, including our soups, chowders, gravies and sauces. Nice People, Good Food & Prices – I really liked this place. I've been there twice. The waitresses and receptionist (I think she's the owner) are very nice and cheerful. There's a relaxed atmosphere, and everything is very clean too. The food is very yummy, almost home-made, not too greasy, the portions are just right- not huge, not small. I think a lot of people think like me, that's why it's packed on weekends. People from out of Reading: please stay away! It's OUR diner =).
Great little place, relaxed atmosphere. – I live in the next town over and I love to come here for breakfast or lunch. They have delicious homemade food and lots of choices. There are always daily specials, too, and they tend to get creative with them (ex. waffles with caramel, pecans, and banana, or pancakes with tropical fruit). I go at least a couple of times a month. Good Food, Slow Staff – Yes, the food is good, but the service is always changing. Sometimes the staff is excellent, more often they are slow and sometimes they are indifferent boardering on rude. It's unpredictable. They serve up excellent breakfast and lunch, so go for the food, with the expectation that you may be there for a while.
