Extremely knowledgeable. I had a diagnosis made at University of Chicago because local physicians could not identify the problem. After doing some research, to my relief, Dr. Wirsing is fully aware of my condition. He has been so helpful
I was dismissed by my first OBGYN when I expressed my concerns about endometriosis. Dr. Wirsing got me in right away, scheduled me an ultrasound (that I could do in the same building so that was nice) & called me back up to his office. Within a couple weeks I had laparoscopic surgery. A cyst had burst, my ovary needed removed & he called in a surgeon to remove my appendix as it was also inflamed. I was covered with endometriosis. Dr. Wirsing seriously saved my life. I recommend him to everyone I know.
I never actually saw Dr. Wirsing in his office. I had a different OBGYN throughout my pregnancy. Dr. Wirsing was called in when I was fully dialated and my doctor was unable to make it. I could not be more pleased!! I only experienced level 1 tearing and he did everything possible to ensure that I would have the quickest recovery possible. He is incredibly experienced at labor and delivery and very professional. I am so grateful that he was available to deliver my son!! Very unprofessional. Receptionist are rude.
I have had to switch through 3 OBGYN offices during this pregnancy because I was having negative experiences, and I am SO happy to have found Dr Wirsing. He actually spent real time with me in my appointment and talked to me about everything I was concerned about! He was very clear about each answer he gave. He seemed full of compassion and I look forward to having a happy healthy pregnancy with him! I would note that the reception girl is not very friendly, but it is easy to make appointments!
Office staff is terrible and omitted vital information that lead to a very costly mistake that they are holding me accountable for. They will not call me back nor let me talk with Dr, Wirsing.
