A family member has been a long time patient of Baptist Primary Care University and was previously under the care of Dr. Kenneth Mayer, whom we miss dearly. It is difficult to fill the shoes of a physician who provided such thoughtful care for many years. I had an appointment with Dr. Wainwright in February, and I feel it’s important to share my experience so others are fully aware before choosing this provider. After reading other reviews, I was not surprised to learn that many patients have experienced the same dismissive and unprofessional behavior that I did. I’ve been a patient at Baptist’s university office for over 15 years, Wainwright joined 23/24 and boy, he has been the most uncomfortable, lack of empathy, unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. He is intentionally, unintentional in keeping “care” attached to patient care. Wainwright brought an unproductive, combative attitude to Baptist, upsetting many patients, offsetting the true reason for their visits.
