I came to Dr. Reed for a second opinion a little over a year ago after slowly losing my vision over several days. The first OD I saw gave me an initial diagnosis & a referral, but because my vision was deteriorating quickly, my family and partner encouraged me to get another opinion from the same doctor who took care of my brother for a different eye concern. I am writing this review based on my girlfriend’s experience with this office, which I witnessed and supported her through. poor treatment, she was also given an incorrect prescription. When she received her glasses, she could not see properly and had to return so the prescription could be redone. This caused unnecessary frustration and inconvenience. Overall, this office showed a lack of professionalism, courtesy, and care. Based on what I witnessed, I would not recommend this office to anyone.
I called this office to get help understanding some insurance claims that were sent to my insurance. The front desk staff was not able to help me and transferred my call to the doctor. Unfortunately, the doctor was extremely rude and spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner. Instead of helping, he told me he could not assist me, even though he could clearly see in the system when my last visit was. I have been a patient of Dr. Reed for years and I would not trust anyone else with my vision.
Dr Reed is an excellent Doctor. He is very patient, caring, knowledgeable, understanding and professional. The ladies in the front desk are also very nice and professional. He’s always treated me and my kids very nice and the thing that I like is that he understands my special needs daughters needs because he’s told me he has a special needs boy too. I highly recommend him.
