Extraction of all 4 wisdom teeth went smooth (procedure, healing, expectations). The front office said 1st visit/consult can be 30 mins before the procedure. I was not comfortable with that. I requested separate visit, 2 weeks before extraction, because, I had questions, needed options, etc and to see if I liked the surgeon's plan (patient rights). Sure, I had to pay for that extra visit, but I needed to know how many MAs will be in the room monitoring vital signs, and assisting the surgeon, especially with concious sedation... read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Kirkup and his team. I had all four impacted wisdom teeth removed less than a week ago, and my recovery has been incredibly smooth. The only real discomfort I experienced was on day three post-op, which they had prepared me for. I had very minimal swelling, and it has almost completely subsided within six days. Dr. Kirkup is a terrific oral surgeon. He’s helped my daughter several times through the years and the process is always straightforward and smooth. He does a great job educating the family on the procedure, both what the procedure entails and the post-op expectations. Very pleased!
