I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Kirkup and his team. I had all four impacted wisdom teeth removed less than a week ago, and my recovery has been incredibly smooth. The only real discomfort I experienced was on day three post-op, which they had prepared me for. I had very minimal swelling, and it has almost completely subsided within six days. Dr. Kirkup is a terrific oral surgeon. He’s helped my daughter several times through the years and the process is always straightforward and smooth. He does a great job educating the family on the procedure, both what the procedure entails and the post-op expectations. Very pleased!
Due to some bad experiences, I have severe anxiety for dental work, especially oral surgery. I’m 8 hours post-op from 2 extractions, haven’t taken any medication and am pain free. Dr. Kirkup was aware of my anxiety so he explained everything thoroughly, and quickly while still being kind and empathetic. While I’m still searching for the perfect dentist, I will not see any other oral surgeon! Thank you Dr. Christopher Kirkup!
I am a "frequent flyer" in the IOMSA office. Dr. Kirkup has completed at least 7 (I've lost count) dental implants for me. He is kind and compassionate. He reviews in advance the risks and benefits of each procedure. As he is operating, he explains what he is doing and what could happen and what I might notice (noises, crunches, pressure, etc.).
