The shoulder surgery I received has completely ruined my quality of life. If you are considering surgery, please try absolutely anything else first. I’ve had 3 shoulder surgeries, the last 2 with Dr. Klifto, due to a torn labrum. Before I ever received surgery I had some pain in the gym, but it was manageable. Dr. Christopher Kifto is amazing. He is extremely compassionate and empathetic to whatever you are going through. He has fixed my left wrist carpel tunnel, my broken left humerus and stabilized my right shoulder that kept subluxing. He understands that patients with generic disorders, like my Elhers Danlos are not one and the same. When I broke my left humerus, I was taken my ambulance to Cary Wake Med.
