I have been seeing Dr. McWhorter for several years. I am fortunate in that I am a generally healthy person and therefore only see him for an annual physical or if I have questions. With that said, he has always been very helpful and is quick to respond via email to question or concerns. I am happy to recommend him to others.
Very professional. Empathetic but very straight in giving professional advice. Have seen him 3 times in two years, happy so far.
Dr. McWhorter helped save my life. I was experiencing some minor chest pains that i really thought was a pulled muscle. During my visit Dr. McWhorter did not hesitate and requested that I see a Cardiologist the following week. The Cardiologist took it from there, however it was Dr. McWhorter that recognized something wasn't quite right and insisted I see the Cardiologist.
Do not go to this doctor, you will waste your time and money going to him. He does not care about his patients and I don't get the feeling that he wants to help. Every time my husband has gone to see him he has been very rude, short and to the point with him making us feel rushed. If you are with Kaiser do not pick this doctor as your PCP. We are considering changing insurance providers because of this doc...I am wondering if all Kaiser docs are the same?
