Most dentists are good, even very good but if you want exceptional, please see Dr Pottorff. It' been almost 6 years since I first saw him. I'm still waiting for that "WOW" factor when I smile or eat to diminish - it hasn't. What it has done is change my life. I'm smiling more broadly and eating much healthier. I was referred to Dr.Pottorff by my dentist. I had a severe infection that caused a tooth to loosen. It had to be extracted and I had to have the procedure for an implant. I needed a bone graft to begin with. I had had a previous implant with a different doctor and was not looking forward to this at all. However, Dr Pottorff was unbelieveablely fantastic. I just completed my second implant with Dr. Pottorff. All went extremely well. The entire staff is friendly and professional. They communicate clearly and listen attentively. The procedure has a number of steps to it. With both implants I have been concerned about associated pain. I am a baby. Yes there is some pain involved, but it is minimal. On a scale of one to ten, I would say I was a two on the day of the procedure and a one or less the next day. Their followup is excellent. I highly recommend them.
