Unexpectedly, a week before hip replacement, I needed clearance from an echocardiogram and stress test. I had no cardiologist Dr. Phelan, who is very personable, managed to see me and schedule both just a few days before surgery. He interpreted them immediately and called me and my surgeon with clearance in time to avoid postponing surgery. I am enormously grateful. I look forward to cardiac health followup with him in a few months.
Dr Phelan is one of the most compassionate and kind doctors that I have. I feel blessed to be his patient. I am confident in his decisions and how he explains everything to me in detail. I do believe that he is a gift from God.
