My experience was exceptional. The Dr. listened! He asked me questions with genuine interest in my answers. He never stopped smiling which gave me a sense of being in the presence of a confident caring doctor. He was (and is still) eager for me to receive a positve outcome. He informed me that he had conferred with another Dr. (orthopedic back surgeon) regarding my complicated set of pain symtoms, and between the two Dr.s they were able to sort and map out a plan. 100% perfection with Dr. Odom and the entire experience! Dr. Odom is a great listener and clearly wants to understand your needs. I appreciate him trying several things before resorting to surgery. After my meniscus surgery I was pain free immediately. FF a year we have now scheduled a knee replacement. I am terrified of this due to a prior experience with a different surgeon. I had hip replacement over a year ago it was emergency on a weekend surgery was done on a Sunday all the nurses said how lucky I was that he was on call.Surgery went well but the after care was dismissed I had severe swelling for months they kept saying it’s fluid it will go away a year later I went. back in April to see him in person I even asked him to take fluid he wouldn’t instead he said that I should go to a plastic surgeon I went to a different orthopedic surgeon he did blood work and MRI now I have a severe infection... read more
I took my 83 years old dad to Dr Odom for a bad surgery my dad had 2 years ago which placed screws on his left leg in other country.
