I was a patient of DR MacDonald. Even though I thought he was a good doctor im no longer a patient. My last visit he was supposed to fax my meds to giant eagle. Upon going to get a refill I realized he never called in my blood pressure meds which are very important. So I called the office and the nurse was Very unprofessional and shouldn't be working anywhere. Dr. McDonald has never had a very caring bedside manner. His appointments are very quick, his demeanor toward patients is abrasive and sarcastic. Had a question about side effects of a medication, he answered that there were no real side effects. I explained that the Mayo Clinic website stated there were multiple side effects. He pointed to a sign on the wall that read, "Don't let your Google search insult my medical degree." He then stated that I was insulting him. He became very angry when I brought the effects up again. Was there just 2 weeks ago. Have an abcessed tooth. Won't call me in a antibiotic until I can get to the dentist. Said want me to come in again. Won't be going there anymore. This quack outfit always wants more money Just for a dam tooth. Won't be going back. Lost another patient. Don't have time for this B.S.
Dr. was very condescending and not interested in listening to my reason for the visit.His concern was only that I need to schedule exams for other issues not related to my visit.He was abrupt and short tempered.I would not recommend any one I know to go there, also staff was not so polite either.
Listens to any complaints I have. Doesn't rush you through. Kind and courteous
