I was hospitalized and Dr. Lucus was "assigned" to me. I was stuck at Tennova due to Covid making transfer to Nashville hospitals out of the question. He cut me 1/1/2022. In advance I said... really Jan 1 in the early morning? Terrifying situation. He saved me and he watched me for days before I was released from the hospital.

Dr Lucas did my surgery on my artery in my neck. He did a wonderful job his staff is very professional but most of so friendly and nice. I would recommend this dr for any surgical procedures that you might need. He is a wonderful dr and I not scared about having the other side done if needed because I know I am in the best of hands thank you dr Lucas and staff

Dr. Lucas performed an emergency surgical procedure due to a perforated colon. I was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for both Covid and the Flu. But as the week progressed the chronic diverticulitis that I’ve dealt with for years finally reached its end point. Dr. Lucas first visited me some very late Thursday night. Afterwards his diligence concluded the surgery was necessary. His care the following week encouraged all the way. I will always be grateful for Dr. Lucas. I truly believe that God used him to sav... read more

I had a non emergency gallbladder removal. Everything went well. I had to wait two and a half hours longer than i should have to get into the surgery room and the nurse who put my IV in had to do it multiple times and bruised me. But Dr lucas did a great job, despite the negative reviews that had me EXTREAMLY nervous!

I had simple, not emergency, gall bladder surgery and have never been in such excruciating That led me back to the hospital the next day, emerg room. They looked at my incisions and abdominal area which was black with bruises and asked who did this to you and where. I told then the surgery was done there, the day before. They could say "Oh!". Way too much pain for a small surgery. I remained in pain for the next month. Rough handling is all I can say. Never recommend.

In my opinion, he is in the WRONG profession. He is very unpersonable. He didn't introduce himself to me, just like I read in another review. And his so called assistant just stared at me the whole time like I had 3 heads. I was referred to him after having a CT and the first sentence he said was Why are you here? Really a unprofessional doctor and I wouldn't advise anyone to waste their time to see him. I wouldn't even take my dogs to him, enough said.

I was referred to Dr. Lucas for painful varicose veins. He spent less than 5 minutes with me. He did not introduce himself or shake my hand. He actually opened with You're too young for varicose veins. Why are you here? He then did a less than 1 minute examination and discovered that I did in fact have varicose veins. He told me since I'm so young we will just wait for them to get worse. Total waste of time as I'm still in pain with no education or insight as to how to alleviate the discomfort
