The most disturbing thing about my visit is in the notes about the appointment in “my chart” it states that “the risks and benefits” of a procedure the doctor suggested I undergo “were discussed with patient” and that I agreed to proceed. No discussion of any sort happened. Appalling! The visit was quick, I did not feel listened to, he even sighed at one point as I tried to explain symptoms. Bottom Line: Best experience possible!!! As a health care provider myself, I wish to share with anyone who is considering working with this group. I just had my third colonoscopy (age 41, 50 & now 60) and by far, my experience with Dr. Lawrence and Charleston GI was the best. From the simple prep, to the customer service prior to and post procedure, to the immaculate anesthesia and lack of any post-procedure discomfort...they were perfect! Thank you to everyone engaged in my treatment; you're the best!
I would highly recommend Dr. Lawrence. He took the time to get my husband's test results back in a few days instead of 2 weeks. He called with the test results instead of having one of his office staff call. He is a hands on doctor.
