I have seen Dr. LaVergne before and he was my first choice of a cardiologist to consult with about my latest concern. He explains conditions very well and is extremely pleasant and puts you at ease!
My Doctor was very informative and made sure I understood everything.
VERY PROFESSIONAL, caring , exceptional!
I had an issue that was new, he was extensive in his exam, the office was efficient in scheduling the follow up testing, labs were drawn that day. The following day my issues continued and his NP returned my call and fixed the issue by the end of the day.

My 1st appt w/ Dr. LaVergne was plesant. He ordered test + prescription. Then i never heard from him again. Communication is via patient portal & his N.P. The prescription was denied by ins. co. & this office communication w/ ins co was very poor & very frustrating. I was also a patient in the vein cntr. I had 3 appt.'s, including 1 pre-op & never saw Dr. LaVergne. I had a cyst that prevented the procedure & the staff insisted I see an orthopedic Dr. to address this issue 1st. My primary Cardio care Doctor
Excellent doctor! I had gone to 2 other cardiologists in the area and both of them did many unnecessary tests and never even went over them with me. Dr. LaVergne took the time to go over the other doctors tests even though he did not perform them. He changed my meds and I feel so much better. I can't believe the docs at Methodist did all those tests before even seeing me and finding out what I really needed. Highly recommend Dr. LaVergne and his practice.

Dr. Lavergne went to see my brother at the Memorial Woodlands Hospital for the first time today. My brother was in the hospital for chest pain and the doctor walked into the room and didn’t check him or listen to my brother’s health concerns. All the ER doctors, the primary physician, my brother’s cardiologist and the previous hospital report from another hospital were ignored and discarded by Dr. Lavergne.
