My practice philosophy is simple: get the patient out of pain as quickly as possible to get them living like they would like to live. Chronic pain and auto-immune disorders are my passion. In addition to traditional chiropractic care, I utilize prolozone injections for quick pain relief of debilitating arthritis to the knees, shoulder, and spinal areas. Licensed in both Idaho and Washington, I am able to provide a broad range of care options.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wellwood for 6 plus years. He has helped me with migraine control, whiplash issues, neck, back and hip issues, all thru chiropractic. His prolozone therapy helped my knees, going from having to crawl to a wall or chair to get up off of the floor or having someone help me up, to being able to get up off the floor with no assist and manage stairs with out pain. His knowledge is always growing, his expertise is vast. I will not go anywhere else!
Dr. Wellwood treated me with several types of injections at his office in Idaho. He treated my thumbs, my knees, my wrists, and my neck. Each time he talked about how I would feel afterward, that I may be sore because of what the treatments were supposed to do, but that that is how the body heals. He listened to me, which was more than many doctors. I was a skeptic. But, he was up front with me that the treatments may not work. But now, I feel 90% better overall. I HIGHLY recommend him!
Dr Wellwood went above and beyond to help my husband who was in severe pain. I highly recommend not only Dr Wellwood but all of his highly professional, courteous and competent providers at NHC/RMI.
I have suffered with neck and upper back pain since an accident when I was 9 years old (54 years ago). I had seen many other chiropractors and Drs. with very little relief from the pain and horrible headaches. I started seeing Dr. Wellwood last summer and am, today, pain free from that old injury! He has done what no others could do and I pray for God to bless him everyday!
Dr Wellwood is as far as I am concerned the very worst of the worst for medical providers. He has no idea what he is doing and when he makes mistakes WHICH HE DID, he has no idea what to do about them. I went to him for neck pain from cervical fusion surgery. He touted his Ozone therapy. I stupidly allowed him to inject me . The pain cannot be described that followed. I had complete body lockup and had to go to ER. When I called him he said "I don't know"... Thats it. RUN AWAY! DO NOT USE HIM!
