It was my understanding that the consult was to evaluate breathing dyskinesia. Instead he informed me he intended to provide a second opinion regarding my Parkinson’s diagnosis. After going through various “tests”, he asked questions regarding my medications and noted they might be masking the Parkinson’s symptoms. Too bad he didn’t ask that from the start. I've seen Dr. Hess for 10 years. He is brilliant, and yet has a good bedside manner. He shoots straight and yet does it in a kind, personable way. I come away from my appointments feeling encouraged. He is very hard to get an appointment with, but well worth the wait!
