Rude, refuses to do tests, and lies. My kid has been having severe allergic reactions recently. He's never had bad allergies before, and suddenly within the past two weeks his eyes have started swelling shut and his throat is closing after he goes outside to play. I took him to Dr. Christopher Gapen as soon as we could possibly schedule. Christopher wrote a prescription for an inhaler, but I specifically asked about allergy testing, Christopher said there was no point in testing because we didn't already know the cause.... Dr. Gapen always listens to our concerns, is compassionate and considerate, and provides us with the best care for our sons. He is one of the best providers we have had.
Great dr. My kid's have been seeing him for 17+ yrs I would recommend him for anyone looking for a pediatrician.
