Dr. Christopher Sletten had me as a patient in 2014 when I was 17. He ran the Pain Rehab Clinic that traumatized me and convinced me I always needed to push through my pain. “Suck it up Buttercup” was the slogan. Over a decade later I’m still trying to unlearn the medical gaslighting I received under his care. 1/5.
Life changing! Dr Sletten and his team are amazing at getting to the core of one's chronic pain by giving the patient all the necessary tools to live one's best life. Highly recommended, as long as you go in to the program with an open mind to change one's self.
This is the real deal. Most will not be able to accept the hard facts about this program, as it is not for everyone but can and should be. Especially if you face medical hardships. If you have enough in you to show up the first day, then do not waist the opportunity. If you want a poor me emotional support group… This aint it!
Horrible experience. This is NOT the way to help chronic pain patients.
Dr. Sletten and everyone at the Mayo Clinic PRC program are the "Big League"! After years of chronic pain they've taught me how to manage my pain & depression pretty much without all of the mind numbing pain pill, creams, injections etc..
