nice and relaxing place had a blast we be back 5 star
I wish there was a 100 star rating for this place. When we arrived there it was beautiful, humming birds every where, all kinds of birds and the Tandem Lodge was perfect for our family. Pictures do not give this place justice. We all cannot wait for our next visit!!!
It was an older cabin, maybe original to the 1960s, and I think the carpet was original too (badly stained). Also could have used better seating, in that the downstairs was composed of a bed and a picnic table-like dining table with bench seats. I would advise bringing camp chairs if you have back issues (which I do). Also no screen on the loft window, which meant lots of bugs flying in so we had to keep it closed at night, which made the loft even hotter! Nice get away with the girls. Don't expect clean...they're more of a 1☆ on the motel scene but it's a camping woodsy experience in the pines. Great hiking all around.
