I’ve been a patient of this provider for the past 3–4 years, despite the fact that I drive roughly 40 minutes each way for every visit. Unfortunately, my experience over that time has been consistently disappointing, primarily due to excessive wait times and a lack of respect for patients’ time. I was looking for a new PCP in the SATX area and saw the reviews on Dr. Ajufo. Sometimes reviews do not reflect the true experience. In this case - I think the reviews should actually be higher. Dr. Ajufo is an EXCELLENT physician. He is thorough, patient and is not one to try to keep you on medications that you do not need as well as responsive in a timely manner - oftentimes same day and within the hour. PLEASE READ I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ajufo, which was considered a physical since I had new insurance and had not seen him since 2023. Before the visit, I was required to pay $100 upfront, which I found unusual. A few days later, I called the clinic to clarify this charge.
