My wife and I went in today to see about getting new flooring for our entire home, we kinda had an idea of what we wanted which was solid hardwood flooring (walnut). I was quickly treated like a second class human that had absolutely no money. The owner insinuated that we should go to engineered wood because it's more "bang for your buck".
