Four years ago, I stumbled into Dr. Anastasiou’s office. I was so sick I could hardly walk. Due to Dr. Anastasiou’s attention to detail, constantly checking up. Reviewing my labs religiously I am doing much, much better. It’s rare to have a doctor actually call you to explain your lab work, but she did!!! What a rare gem in today’s world. I am and will be forever grateful for her. She’s just a damn good doctor!
Dr. Anastasiou is amazing. She is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She is caring and honest about everything. UCSF is lucky to have her and most importantly me as her patient.
I have been visiting the UCSF Rheumatology Clinic for a few years and have had excellent experiences. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the clinic was clean and well-maintained. Dr. Anastasiou has been a godsend. I have a rare condition of which most physicians have no knowledge. She makes a concerted effort to keep up with the latest research and treatment options which inform her clinical judgements. Intelligent and thorough, she treats me like a team player and is respectful of my decisions. Dr. Anastasiou is not only extremely responsive but has on several occasions gone out of her way to follow up when we begin a new treatment regimen, something nearly unheard of in the current medical system. ... read more
I think she's a good (research?) doctor. Never available and takes forever to respond. I feel like an interruption when I do call.
