We are from out of town and were looking forward to eating here as the staff of the hotel we were staying at raved about their breakfast and atmosphere. We arrived a little before 1030 and were told they don't serve breakfast past 1030 on Thursdays or Fridays. This would have been fine with me had it been mentioned ANYWHERE in either reviews, hours of operation, or anything. We ended up walking back to our hotel very disappointed. Was always the place to go when you wanted to get away from the hustle of the legislature and enjoy some good home cooking food without driving out of the area. There was never enough chairs or places to sit. Breakfast was always busy with downtown business professionals. Best coffee. Was always the place to be and be seen. The ladies were so gracious.
Nice people- breakfast was excellent! Want to go back for lunch.
Downtown down-home diner! Classic breakfast and southern plate lunch. Need to make a Thursday (fried chicken day) soon! �
