I saw Dr. Ottomeyer in the afternoon on a Monday and I was the first in the OR on Tuesday for an emergency surgery due to spinal compression from a massive herniated disc at L5-S1. Dr. Ottomeyer and her entire team were amazing. They were very supportive, empathetic and comforting. I felt very secure and confident I was in good hands. The surgery was a success and I'm healing up with no complications. The entire team deserves 5 stars because they earned it.
It seems like this office doesn't want to see patients. My doctor made a referral twice I called at least four times and only got to talk to someone once. They requested new imaging and so I paid for all new imaging and had those sent over and I even emailed to let them know it was sent over and got nothing in response. What a complete waste of time and money.
Unequivocally the worst experience of my entire life. I had gone through weeks and weeks of intense pain after a scoliosis diagnosis, amongst other things related to my spine. Her staff, especially her secretaries and assistants, treated me worse than I have ever been treated. In addition to their patronization, I made no less than 30 phone calls between my primary care provider and their office just to see if they got the referral and advocate for myself. Best knee surgeon ever.
Outstanding spinal surgical care. Dr. Ottomeyer is a highly skilled Orthopedic Spine surgeon who really cares about restoring her patients' quality of life. The Anaconda and Butte areas are fortunate that she chose to practice here.
