Dr. Jenkins was exceptionally knowledgeable and kind. She has a gentle confidence which put me at ease. I was nervous and apprehensive about dealing with my problem, but I left with a feeling of relief and complete trust in her.
This is a LONG overdue Thank You! to Dr. Jenkins. She worked on me from 2014 to 2015 when she was practicing in Palm Springs. I had been handed off to her after the previous two surgeons were unsuccessful in sealing a large fistula. Dr. Jenkins promised she would not give up on me or pass me on to someone else...she was good to her word and found the proper procedure on the third surgery she performed. Dr. Jenkins is the best! She is compassionate and approachable. You never really know what to expect meeting a new doctor. I was apprehensive going into the appointment but she put me at ease from the moment she walked in the exam room. I felt comfortable explaining embarrassing issue to her. Had procedure following the appointment, and she is professional at all times. You never know what to expect when you go to a new doctor. Many times, you walk into an office and everyone is a little too busy to smile, say good morning, etc. The staff at Dr. Jenkins office were not just friendly and professional, they acted like they cared about you and each other. Dr. Jenkins is absolutely AMAZING. Her care, professionalism, knowledge/expertise, geniunenes and ability to eliminate patient uncertainties and put me at ease spoke volumes.
Can't say enough about what a great surgeon Dr Jenkins is. At a time of crisis and uncertainty Dr Jenkins went above and beyond d and should be praised for her professional work.
I recently had surgery and I have to say you need not look anywhere else for care. Dr Jenkins is remarkable and her staff and the doctors and nurses at the Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs are the best. My surgery for me was a breeze and recovery was also very quick. If you need or are contemplating who to charge with your care this is the doctor you want!!!
I will absolutely refer Dr. Jenkins anytime I can. She is amazing.
