Dr Boutsicaris is very easygoing, always takes time to listen and explain everything in plain words. I had seen a handful of other rheumatologists prior, all old men who made assumptions and provided limited explanations. I appreciate this doctor’s willingness to educate me and guide me through recommendations and choices for treatment.
Dr. Boutsicarus is a very nice person. She is friendly and kind. But she didn't ask me many questions or listen to my complaint carefully. Instead, she told me what she thought happened to me and what my problem was and refused to change her mind, no matter what additional facts were presented to her. She made up her mind, before she even heard me out. It's therefore not surprising that her diagnosis was wrong. I saw another rheumatologust who came up with a completely different diagnosis. I’m a very complicated patient. Dr. Boutsicaris Took extra time with me to fully discuss my issues. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, And offered good solutions. I am looking forward to my annual visits with her and would highly recommend her.
Very disappointed with this doctor's care. First, I should mention that Dr. Boutsicaris is a very nice person. She has a good bedside manner. However, she is very inexperienced, and largely invents her own scenario about your complaint. She even adds things that you never said. She orders unnecessary tests, which only delays your treatment. I had to see another doctor, who diagnosed me correctly and prescibed the proper medication. I cannot recommend Dr. Boutsicaris.
