I have worked with Dr Kubit as my psychiatrist for years and she has always been kind, compassionate and so helpful in wading through the maze of various medications that I had to "fail" before we found one that worked for my depression, anxiety and ADD. She actually listens and treats me like an intelligent human being. I hope she never leaves KP.
I'm not one to give a lot of negative reviews, but Dr. Kubit has been one of my least favorite medical health professionals I've ever seen. From my experience, she gets tunnel vision regarding specific diagnoses, even if they end up being wrong. She would not consult with my therapist who has already known me for two years about the possibility of me having ADHD, and she would push away my own concerns about specific symptoms outside of anxiety. She has great knowledge of medicine for pregnant and nursing mothers far beyond the perspective that medications should be stopped altogether. She makes herself a partner rather than a prescriber and has the patience of a saint!
